Announcements
Whether you are newlywed or newly engaged, now is the perfect time to announce your exciting news with. Do you have amazing photos from your wedding day that you want to share? We’re looking for fabulous engagements and weddings to feature in the Announcements section on MyHeartofVA Weddings. We’d love to see your pics and story!
Here’s what to do:
Choose a great photo and tell your story.
Please make sure you include an email with your names and telephone number, the date you were married/engaged, and the city and state where the wedding/engagement took place, along with your photographer’s contact information.
Then, email your photos and story (upto 750 words) to us at myheartofva@gmail.com in one of the following formats:
JPEG (.jpg) and Word Doc (.doc) or Plain Text (.txt)
Make sure you tell us what type of announcement, by placing Engagement Announcement or Wedding Announcement in the Subject line of your email.
Include the following info in the body of the email:
1. Your wedding photographer’s name, phone number, and website address
2. Your names, phone numbers, and email addresses
3. Day, month, year, city, state, and location of your ceremony and reception
4. Any other details you’d like us to know about your wedding or engagement!
Due to the possibility of high volume of submission, we will contact you once your announcement is published on the site. Announcements maybe kept on online for a year or more.
Please note: Due to editorial policy, My Heart of VA is unable to publish announcements word-for-word that have been or are scheduled to be featured in another publication online or off-line.
